Mostly deer for me. I took my daughter for her first time this past weekend for youth hunt. Sunday morning, bright and early, she got her first deer with her first shot, at about 125 yards. She's a better shot than her old man!

Then, Sunday evening while trying to fill her anterless-only tag, we saw the biggest buck I've ever seen while hunting. It was exciting seeing it, though she was a bit sad she filled her buck tag already.

We hunt deer with archery,muzzzle-loader and rifle.NY has a very long season,this year Sept.27-Dec.15.We have had very good luck so far;between the four of us(son,daughter-in-law and son-in-law) we have taken four bucks.I own an uplands preserve so I get my share of "guiding" for pheasant,quail and chukar.My son picked up a pair of beagles so we will be rabbit hunting after deer season.We also hook up with the local coyote hunters with their fox hounds in the winter.
Eddy;nice mounts,I am lucky there I have a brother-in-law that is a taxidermist!

Mostly deer, but I'll hunt anything that is edible. As a kid, we raised beagles so rabbit hunting behind a pack of dogs will always be number one. Squirrels are the best tasting IMO, but deer, turkey, rabbits and everything else tastes good too! :thumbsup:

I camp with my wife, sons and grand kids on national forest land some distance from our farm to hunt deer; been doing it for over 40 years. We take two or three deer a year off our property if we don't get one elsewhere. We love venison.

I hunt, Predominately Deer and Turkey, West Texas and Colorado Mule deer and Elk.

Here is a small bull I posted elsewhere on TBN, I took it on BLM land in CO ths year. The photo with my wife is one we got the year I hunted with a broke leg, PITA, but what are ya gunna do

I hunt quite a bit and fortunately have a wife that doesn't mind. I have a 2600 acre lease in the Texas hill country and get there pretty regular for deer, turkey, hogs, blackbuck antelope and pests. I really enjoy taking my two girls with me and getting them interested in the outdoors and the shooting sports.

I've also hunted Idaho for elk and Kansas for pheasant and quail. I hunted in Africa back in 2003, then Ireland in 2011 and 2012, Africa again just a few weeks ago and I'll be hunting New Zealand in May. I'm already thinking of how I might swing a Cape Buffalo hunt in 2016.
