When I venture out to look at something else all I want to do is go home. Guess it depends on what home is? What type property are you confined to?

I have plenty here to do I just like going out and going to tractor supply or wherever to look at other things. I have 20 acres so I don稚 run out of room.

That's part of the "problem"...since I've (mostly) retired I've taken up some new hobbies, activities, etc. and that's required money. For example, I took up snowmobiling and decided to learn to weld. Had to buy a snowmobile, welder, and all the accessories. I'm glad I did, but as someone who's always been very conservative financially I don't want to take chances.

Since retiring, I've often wondered how I ever got anything done while I was working full time, especially projects that needed to be finished in a timely manner once you started them (a new roof for example). Of course, you can work at a slower pace rather than needing to cram it all in over a weekend or vacation week.
Other retirees I've spoken to say the same thing.

One thing that bugs me a little bit about retirement is that there seems to be the expectation that you will want to travel. Maybe some do, but I'm kind of a homebody...I like sleeping in my own bed every night. Then again, for many years I had a job that required a lot of traveling, and I kind of burned out on it.

Got some fence somewhere in a wooded section apparently needs fixing (cow got out yesterday....moved them to another section of pasture last night, haven't walked the fence yet) Got a mini-split heat pump ordered I need to put in before it gets too hot. Got a 'gut-to-the-studs' remodel of the master bath room planned AFTER we get two pigs slaughtered and in the freezer. Want to add some more solar panels to my system this fall. Garden ALWAYS needs tilling/weeding in addition to mowing/weedeating around the place. Shop building needs painting. Need to slaughter steer for the freezer this fall. 4 cords of firewood to log out, cut/split/stack for winter of 2022 (or rotation gets out of order) 30 older layer hens need to go in canning jars about September when the new flock starts laying. 4yr hoop house plastic is 4 yrs old now, gonna need to replace it. Wife wants some furniture built for the house (table, hutch etc)....that will tie up some of the cold weather time.

So what are you going to do in your spare time ??
I always find that I have so much to do I wonder how I ever had time to go to work. Been retired for 20 or so years now and still haven't caught up

I guess it depends on ones retirement income.. I have hobby's as well that include money, not a problem because I figured all this stuff in before I retired..

Transparancy goes both ways. Did you inform them that you are retired and bored. Just looking for something to do.

I'm with Oversized, I'd never hire a part timer who was 'Retired and Bored." You usually get want you paid for.

Since he absolutely, positively won't disclose his location, I can only hope he's not in Missouri. My cooperatives have more important things to do than waste their time defending against a trivial complaint.

Instead, you are venting over whether you have the authority to demand and change how a 3rd party company chooses to operate. That answer is also no.
