Socks, I need new socks. Where do you buy good socks?

Yep... Google 'copper infused thread' and you'll have a better description than I could provide with my 'off the top of my head' response.

Another bloke wrote about getting Marine Issue socks citing "silver" as the ingredient. I don't know about that, but I do know about "copper".

That's interesting because I've never heard of copper being an anti microbial used in fabric, while silver is a popular anti-microbial.

I buy the grey Carrhart's when I can find the larger sizes. Not so much for the wear but they stay up pretty well. I bought some heavier weight blue one's last fall and they have been pretty good through this winter for me.

I always liked the Gold Toe dress socks more than their heavier work styles.

Ta for posting that... I hadn't even heard about silver being a microbial killer. Turns out that that happens only under certain conditions whereas copper does it all the time.

So does that mean houses plumbed with copper are less likely to suffer from contaminated water? I run Napa oil because I get a discount there. HST is better for general maintenance use. Gears are better for ground engagement. I’ve never had a dodge but Chevy rides and steers better than Ford IMO. Fords motor mounts also suck from a mechanics standpoint. It should have been a foot farther forward. Now that that’s settled should I get a straight shift or automatic in my truck. ( I’ve got a 5 speed in my dump truck and wouldn’t put a automatic in it if you paid me $1000 and did the swap )
