Has anyone had any experience with installing a heater into a hole that used to contain a soft plug? My dealer is recommending this as an alternative to a hose installed in the lower radiator hose.

There is a plug on the left side of the engine block that will screw out to accommodate the block heater without removing the freeze plug, I would recommend using the heater supplied by the factory so not to affect the warranty. Good luck

Thanks for the reply! Is this plug on the Kukje 3T90L motor? I asked my dealer and he said that they don't have a factory heater for it? He has been wrong before......

Just curious, what tractor company will bounce a warranty because of a engine heater?

The plug should be at back (left) side, just pull the wiring out of the way. If you have a Branson dealer near you he will be able to get the recomended heater for you.
