Solar Christmas tree lights that work?

Bought a string of white Christmas lights last year. They were $20 or less. You could barely see them and the light only lasted a few hours.

Anyone know where to buy some that really work?

OK have something that looks like it will work. Purchased a string of 200 LED lights with a solar cell and opened it up. Inside was a battery box that would hold 3 AA cells but was only wired for one. Took some contacts from an old remote to add a second rechargeable AA cell wired in parallel. It will now run all night at 40°, and hopefully the additional battery capacity will let it run all night in cold weather.

I might have to check these out. There are a couple bushes the wife would like to put lights on, but they're not really where it would be practical to run an extension cord to. Even if they only go 4 or 5 hours after dusk, that would be fine...almost no one drives down our back road after 9pm anyway.

Will any AA rechargeable work, or are they some special type?
