Solar Recharge Trailer Break Backup Batt?

Can anyone recommend a trailer break backup battery that has a solar panel maintainer built in? Or not recommended one?

BatteryMinder is a great charge controller. Not integrated with a breakaway battery, but you'd just the it to the battery. Could easily just wire the charger to a female trailer plug. Just plug the trailer plug into the charger when you unplug from your tow vehicle.

Do some re wiring , run a jumper from the running lights over to the battery , when you turn on your headlights or running lights you charge the battery

If you have a 7 pin plug one is always hot (but you may need to add a fuse in the panel to make it hot). Besides, I think he's looking for something to keep the battery charged when the trailer isn't being used.

Some great ideas but yes looking for something to prevent drain while stored.

It isn't complicated, plug it in with a cheap charger, or use cheap solar.

Don't plug it in, let it set for a year, it will be charged back up in 5 minutes when hooked to the truck. These are Barbie car batteries. KISS.
