Nice work!

What is the third position on the tool stand for? A belt sander?

Yes it is a cheap 1" belt sander. I never installed it afterwards. Didn't see the need with the 2" x 72" belt sander sitting a few feet away from it.

Why no finished pictures? Would like to see the belt sander.

I will have to dig the finished pictures out and post them. These were all I had on my iPad. Here is a video of the building and first use of the belt grinder.

By the number of 1" belts you have for the sander either you hit a huge garage sale or the lottery. Ellis builds one but I could not see enough usage to buy their expensive model. I always wanted to build a press but they sell them so cheap it is almost just the cost of the steel and jack. Besides 1" holes are hard for me to drill. I admire metal " artists " when it comes to building machines. Good work !

The belts were an eBay buy. I got ten each of two different grits. The press was scrap stuff I had laying around so I only cost me a few dollars for the jack.
