And now back to our regular programming.... .
If you look at the beginning of Jim's thread he was looking for ways to improve his security not sorry notes.
In today's cyberworld there are a lot more security issues than virus and worms.
The on line/off line indications can be part of that if you have a neighbor that is in for you.
A couple other examples:
How many people live back a long lane and have a gate but only close it when they are gone.. To a bad guy that goes by the place all the time
it means probably nobody is home.
We had a good neighbor in town many years ago that had a large motor home that he was very proud of. He always parked it in his driveway even though he had other properties with facilities to store it inside. One year while on vacation his home was broken into and a lot of damage done.
The next year he had installed some hidden security cameras. Broken into again with more damage but the cameras showed the bad guy to be a neighbor teen that lived right down the street. He confessed to being the one that did it the year before, too. Obvious when the motorhome is gone for a week or more their is probably nobody home.
We can't let things like this occupy too much of our time but as one of Jim's friends said " It;s a changin world"
I'm sure Jim has taken appropriate action and appreciates the suggestions
received from the TBN folks. From his last couple replies it looks like he is ready to get back to haulin dirt and keep us all tuned in with some great pictures.
