I always dreamed that the ice cream truck would break down in front of my house and we would have all the ice cream we could eat.

I guess that's one thing I missed out on, we always had to ride our bicycles 5 miles to Tabors if we wanted an ice cream.

I grew up watching Roy Rogers and always wanted a horse like Trigger. When I was 40 I finally got one and trained her to do almost everything a horse could do. I loved riding her in the Mardi Gras parades in New Orleans leading the group with my white hat on and hearing kids say "look it's Roy Rogers". I had her 30 years till she went to the pasture in the sky last year. Sure miss her.

I've not a horse person but those who are seemed more attached than people get to our dogs. :thumbsup: to 30 years of good memories.

Ya, and it was 5 miles each way! Oh wait, i meant uphill.

I missed out on the music truck too, but there was an ice cream parlor in the village. :licking:
