I'm the son of a farm family in Central IL, our 2500 acre corn/bean farm is not large enough to employ another family member full time. I'm hoping I could pick up some ideas of different side jobs with current machinery we own that could supplement an income.

With that much land, surely there is some abundance of wildlife..... here in Texas one way to rake in additional funds is to "farm" the wildlife..... people pay well to shoot doves, quail, deer, wild turkey, go fishing, etc. If you are not already tapping your wildlife resource, might be time to add that to the mix. Guided hunts where you treat the hunters royally can be big bucks.
