Southern Box Blade

anyone have any experience with the Southern box blade? I can get a new one for $345 but I have never heard of this model and nothing came up when doing a search.

Never heard of them but I'm in the market for one. Is that normal pricing or a special only available to you?
Do you have pictures of it?
What model is it?

I'm searching right now too. All I have found so far is what's on Caldwell Tractor's page.

that is the normal price. I have not seen it yet. My local dealer ( who is a stand up guy ) said they are very tough he uses the 5 ft Southern Box blade at home.
His prices are always pretty low. I bought a new 5 ft Howse brush hog from him last summer for $550.
I don't know much about these box blades, that is why I was asking also /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'vd got a Southern rotary cutter, but haven't seen their box blades.

I have a Southern Manufacturing rear blade. I bought it when I bought my tractor from the dealer. He did not know what kind of blade it was as it does not have any stickers on it. I looked for many hours on the internet when finally I came upon the web site "southernfarmsupply". This may be what you are looking for. I wanted to find it in case I ever need parts. My rear blade is heavy duty and I am very pleased with it. Much better than anything else I could find local.
