You’re going to want to use a hand impact and hammer to loosen them.. they are EXTREMELY TIGHT..
I'm going to have to get one of those. Looks interesting.I had to remove a rounded off 4 sided plug from a water line that was inside a wall. Usually a six sided 5/8's socket works, but the edges of the brass where rounded off.
I found this at Lowes, and it worked great!!!!!
Folks always fear the back-out tool, but I've used more of them on more plumbing than probably anyone you'll ever meet, excepting pro plumbers, and found they always work very well.
