TBN members rock! Special thanks to RBrown & Ritoruburu for their help! The issue centered around my dealer instructing me to use a floor jack to pin my MMM. I felt this was bad information & pursued it........ After some help from the forum members I've determined there is actually a bracket that is missing from my MMM allowing it to properly pin. Dealer says they've never installed this bracket & never knew it existed until I showed them my manual. Dealer is pointing the finger at Kubota, so who knows what happens next......

Oooops should have been in Kubota section.......... Mods feel free to move it!

I wonder how many they sold that way ;)

At least 6 that they are willing to talk about..........

I hope the dealer has at least made efforts to contact those 6 customers and inform them of the missing bracket????

Sad, that a dealer "didn't know it existed". Shouldn't they be looking at spec sheets, parts lists, service updates to stay familiar with their product. Not right of them to be pointing the finger at Kubota- yet. Perhaps they should take a close look at their operations to see if there are any areas they might improve upon first.

I appreciate this forum because I am able to learn from so many people. Even though I do not post often, TBN has been a valuable resource for me many times.

I hope that it all works out with the dealer for you.

I'd be inclined to agree, but I guess there are so many details involved in so many different models, maybe it's too much to expect. I know when I decided to add hydraulic top 'n tilt to my 1999 B2710, I found that the two nearest Kubota dealers did not know about the auxilliary hydraulic outlet until I showed them what and where it was.

Thanks...... You know, the thing that gets me is the fact that every dealer has direct access to live tech support from Kubota. Guess as long as I'm writing the checks, the dealer isn't too concerned with being technically correct.............

True, There are many models out there, and not all are similar. However, I would expect them to be knowledgeable about the popular models and the ones they sell most (not sure if that is the case in this example).

I would also like to think, that if they realize it is not a model they are familiar with, then maybe they should be more thorough when assembling and inspecting for quality before sending it out the door.

I have essentially given up on the dealer I bought my tractor from because of their lack of commitment to knowing the product they sell. This goes for current/popular models and the tractor I bought from them- that they have the records on.....

My dealer has 8-9 stores in Kansas & compact tractors like my B3200 are at the lower end (cost wise) of the equipment lines they handle. I often get the feeling that they're going to take care of the "big boys" before they worry too much about a guy like myself........
