That link isn't working for me....

I get a message that says," Sorry, this video is not available."

Anyone else having troubles?

is there a link or web page for that dolly?

BXpanded.com you can also search the forums here as there are a few good threads on bxpanded and their products. Personally I'm pretty happy with their sprayer and BH dolly. I had a small issue with their FEL forks and have received unbelievably good customer service from them in response.

I'm thinking about the forks. What was the problem you experienced? How do you like your forks now and what do you lift with them?

The forks are great for lifting things you can easily get them under. I tried to force them under a very heavy rock (at least 400lbs) and found a limitation of the spring strength of the clip pins that keep the mounting brackets from pushing off the bucket when you press them against something. Harry sent me heavier brackets and pins for free and has switched to those for all new orders.

One thing to know about the forks is that they are held on the bucket by the brackets on top and by gravity elsewhere. They lean against the front bottom of the bucket basically. This means that they are not rigid and can't be used for non-fork type things like sticking them in a nasty multi-flora rosebush and trying to rip branches out. They aren't designed for that but I had the idea to try it. Didn't really work but there is no reason it should.

For moving a pile of brush, fork lifting a pallet of something, stacking on a stack of something and moving it, etc., they are great!

Nice product but you can make it for $100 LESS then what they want.

If you can make it for less you should. In fact maybe you should make several and sell them for less than BXpanded to turn the savings into profit. I cannot make them so I bought them. I don't have welding equipment and was never any good at it when I did. Plus in the same time it would take me to make these, I can make more than $100 doing other things. Neither is right or wrong, just different circumstances. BXpanded exists for customers like me, not those that can make it themselves.

Even for an unpracticed, mere mortal like me, the BXpanded Dolly makes BH removal, storage and re-attachment faster and easier. I got mine about a week ago and love it.

Dang right ! For me the best part about using a dolly (like BXpanded's) is being able to store the BH ... and even if you are only removing the BH for a short time, it makes the process much easier. I didn't purchase mine from BXpanded, I have the skills and equipment so I built my own. ;)

It's not 100% finished, but almost

Sorry, but I won't.
I support my family by designing and developing products such as these. This is my job. I spent many hours and more than a few dollars developing this dolly. Most of you gentlemen get paid for your job. Please allow me the same consideration.

Amen. Nice products BXpanded.

I would like to know exactly how you guys remove the BH that quick though. I never can get to tension off the pins very quickly. I have to mess with the BH and the stabilizers to get them out.

I have a similar problem, though mine is only on the left pin. It has to be in just the right position and then it's still tight when removing or installing.

thats odd .. mine sticks on the left side too. i put grease on the pins and it helps a little. not a lot but something is better then nothing. i am so tempted to grind out the pin socket, but i keep telling myself - it must be something i am doing wrong. I wonder if it a certain batch of the BH made with the left pins sticking?

Radioman - I've run into that on some BH's. I use a flapper wheel in a die grinder to only remove the paint in the pin bosses, that does the job well. I have't had any that have been a pain once the paint is removed. You don't have to worry about the pin bosses like you would for your bucket as these are stationary. Just don't egg out the hole and you'll be fine (that would take quite awhile with the flapper wheel).

Now if you have used your BH enough and the paint is already gone.....then your on your own.

Sticky left pin here too. Grease didn't help. The right one comes off like I know what I'm doing. The left one then needs a little adjustment. I've found that the aftermarket pin removal tool works.
BTW, the pin removal tool is a couple of taps on the pin with a hammer.LOL:p
I'm going to make a dolly tomorrow and see how it comes off on what I expect to be a flat garage surface.
