Speedy BH removal

Radioman - I've run into that on some BH's. I use a flapper wheel in a die grinder to only remove the paint in the pin bosses, that does the job well. I have't had any that have been a pain once the paint is removed. You don't have to worry about the pin bosses like you would for your bucket as these are stationary. Just don't egg out the hole and you'll be fine (that would take quite awhile with the flapper wheel).

Now if you have used your BH enough and the paint is already gone.....then your on your own.

thanks for letting me know i am not alone here -- But i still find it odd that everyone says left side only. It gotta be a tolerence issue. Did the assembly line screw up somewhere ? I guess we will never know. Ill have to inspect to see how much paint i have left in the bosses. Even though i used it a quite a bit, I have been careful how i insert the pins, if it doesnt go then its not lined up even though if i feel a tap of hammer will help. I rather do it via right angle to get left pin in, however frustrating that may be,

I have a similar problem, though mine is only on the left pin. It has to be in just the right position and then it's still tight when removing or installing.
Another vote for the left side being tight unless everything is just right.
Moving the stablizer up and down along with some pressure from the bucket seems to get me to the sweet spot. Must be a flaw in Kubota's welding jigs or machining of the frames.

Yeah, I think you'll find that if you test the pin by inserting after the backhoe has been removed that there is plenty of clearance on both the tractor and the hoe.

Sorry, but I won't.
I support my family by designing and developing products such as these. This is my job. I spent many hours and more than a few dollars developing this dolly. Most of you gentlemen get paid for your job. Please allow me the same consideration.

Wow, I'm shocked. And here I thought you were doing all this only for the betterment of mankind. Mercenary! :D :D

thats odd .. mine sticks on the left side too. i put grease on the pins and it helps a little. not a lot but something is better then nothing. i am so tempted to grind out the pin socket, but i keep telling myself - it must be something i am doing wrong. I wonder if it a certain batch of the BH made with the left pins sticking?

Might be worth measuring the exact height to the pin bosses on both sides of the tractor. Something as simple as a little difference in rear tire pressures might explain the difference. Although it's odd that everyone comments on the left side always sticking...

Left side here too... :D

Stupid question, but what is the bosses? Is it the holes in the backhoe and the frame?
