A related story...Some friends of mine work on a siding crew and have a ladder rack on their pickup....it hauls their extension ladders and metal brake to the job site....they stick out over the cab of the truck a ways.....The crew stopped at a drive up donut shop one morning for coffee and when they got to the job the shops canopy awning was hanging from their extension ladder.........I think the police are still looking for them......TOM

Mrs. Alan L. (I said Mrs. Texas Al before, forgot my handle) was unhurt. When she saw me headed to the shop with my digital camera, she said "you better not put that on the tractor board!!". I don't mind very well.

Those of us married for more than a few years have learned that it's always our fault, right?!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I just bought my tractor...we'll see if the spouse is willing to try it out soon. Interestingly, my 16 (almost 17) yr old daughter is dying to get behind the wheel...she'll walk around following me she likes the darn thing so much! How's that for a 16 yr old girl?!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I kind of prefer the situation of not having anyone to blame and not having anyone to give me grief if I wrinkle something. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif I gladly accept full responsibility for all mistakes and damage in exchange for not having to submit purchase proposals for 'approval' to someone. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif It's really a bargain. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Using my 21 years of marriage as experience, I'd recommend that you say absolutely nothing, and save it in the "bank". You'll never know when it might come in handy. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

You should introduce her to this young man. Seems they have a lot in common /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif. I wish MY teenagers were like these kids....

Reddog,

My daughter at 13 is already mowing with my TC29D and 72"MMM. I lost that seat time. If she figures out how to use the loader I am done. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Three things a man must know for a happy marriage,

1. Yes Dear!
2. I'm Sorry Dear!
3. You're Right Dear!

All three are required when it is your fault(always).

Reminds me of the story of my friends wife who came home with the Christmas tree strapped to the top of the Suburban. As she pulled in to the garage she raked the tree off and damaged the rack and garage door. Oh well, I could see it happening to me.
However, the punch line to the story is...........
Same thing happened the next year. Maybe my friend will buy here a fake tree.
