Just make sure you do not load any sod in with the lime. No matter what spreader you are using, sod chunks create problems and you have to get a shovel out to solve the problem. If you use a loader to load the lime, keep the bucket up a little so you don't get any sod in. When most of the pile is gone then you can scrape the rest up with the lip of the bucket and scoop that into the spreader so if you do get any sod it will only be in one load and hopefully you can pick it out as you load.
