TYM T330
I have been reviewing the manual but can not find this information.

Our TYM T330 (best buy EVER) has about 100 hours on it. I found a leak in one of the hydrolic lines on the arm. I tried tightening it a bit and that seemed to stop the drip. Question - how do I determine if 'too much' leaked out to safely run the bucket? A dirty patch on the ground is not a good measure!

Next question - some filler caps are painted orange and some are painted yellow. I have completely forgotten the difference!

Last question - for the life of me, I can not find the dip stick for the transmisison - have crawled all over it! Help?

The 50 hour checkup was completed by a mechanic neighbor while he was borrowing it and he has since moved away!

Dianne - I looked at my tractor and both the engine oil and hydraulic fill caps are painted orange so I can not help you there. On my 353 HST there is no dip stick for the transmission oil, there is a site gauge to the right of the pto and below the hydraulic fill cap. I hope this helps.

Dianne,
Yours should have a site glass at rear right of PTO for hydraulic fluid. Mine is a T330 gear and that is where mine is and fill cap is just above the top link hookup area.

Same place on my 293 HST and once you find it be sure to check the level at least every time that you fuel up. Don't wait another 50 hours .

Grut Thanks - sadly, neither of us see anything that looks like a site glass anywhere back there! WE've looked in the manual and it is not where it is pictured.

CAn anyone post a picture of what you are looking at?

How about getting the air filter out? Clearly, the side panel needs to be removed - does it REALLY mean taking out 6+ bolts first?

This is the sight glass on a Kobota, but at least it will give you an idea of what you are looking for.

Remember I have the gear model not sure if they are going to be that much different, but mine is on pg. 63 of operators manual.
Here is a pic top arrow is fill tube and cap bottom is site glass.
Hope this helps.

Thanks! A specific area to look in and your great picture resulted in finding it! It was occluded by dirt! Seems we did not lose much in the drip. Weather in Reno goes from 104 in summer to minus 10 in winter. The manual suggests several fluids - what would you recommend?
