Even though I know it is a tractor, when I put down the stablizers, they get scratches from touching sand ,rocks where the stabilizer isn't using pad for support. Is there something I can put to protect them or just touch up the paint occasionally. There is also a fitting that is under stabilizer that could get damaged from rocks, etc. The grease fitting on stabilizer pistons look like they could get dirt as they have no rubber cap on the fittings , near the pads. Thank you for any advice. plowling

Myself, I would just touch up the paint as needed. Don't worry about the grease zerks. Just clean them off before greasing. Hard to break one unless have direct blow. I have had grease zerks wear off on farm equipment due to contact with dirt/tilling over a long period of time.
