You might try the Generac# 0987940SRV.. It's a stand alone electronic governor that runs off 12v dc and looks at the 120v to keep the htz at 60.. I use one on my honda liquid cooled unit...

just buy battery backups for everything in the house...they're pretty good @ keeping the voltage a freq stable... JMHO
