My 755 seems to be going threw batteries and starters all the sudden. The last 2 batteries have only lasted a year and my starter was rebuilt last fall. The starter all ready has a dead spot in it in less then a 100 hours of use. I don't have any problems starting the tractor so I know I am not getting it hot. What would cause this to start happening. I am going to talk to the dealer tomorrow about it but I would like to hear what you have to say also.

I would suggest checking the battery cables, the ground connections and the wires from the alternator. If you have low battery voltage it could cause the starter solenoid to stick. I am not saying that is it but I would make sure the electrial connection in the charging and starting system are in perfect shape.

I would check the voltage while running, if it is too high it can kill the batteries.

Most starting batteries will last for 5 years or more today.
