Where I come from a "Load test" is when you drive an overloaded vehicle across and see if it works.

1/8 deflection in center with pick up
A bit less with tractor
The railing tilted in 1/8 also
Everything moved back when I drove off

The 3x3 cross tubes are welded to the angles and I tried to get some decent wells from the 3x3 tubes to the 2x6 tubes

Love it!
The tractor was probably a better test since more of the weight is in the middle vs the truck's weight being closer to the abutments.
Consider plugging the ends of the tubes with something so that you don't get wasps or who knows what living in them...

Thank you!
I’ve got some sheet metal and caulk……I could cut some 1/8” plate and weld them in…..honestly I’m tired of welding!!

Maybe a fitted piece of wood stuck into or onto the end, or if you're into it just glue a rectangular reflector for those nighttime crossings

Was thinking solar night lights.
The reflectors is a good idea also!
