I think I might have an ignition problem with my dk40. Majority of the time I turn the key and nothing happens. Have to turn the key many times and jigggle different directions just to get the glow plugs to come on. Will turn the key to start and nothing happens. Have to again jiggle the key and angle the key different directions to get it to turn over. Sometimes it will start and as soon as I let go of the key it dies. Any help would be great. Thinking it is either an ignition problem or corrosion problem.

Sounds like it may be the ignition switch. Take a test light and check the terminals for power while operating the switch.
