Did you intentionally use the wrong homonyms in this post? 🤔
If you thought I was serious, you've got another think coming. ;)

Speaking of Hominy, don't you Poor lye over it and soak it, or Pour it over it? ;)

Thank you. I was just checking.

It's probably a mute moot point, but some posts wet whet your appetite. Irregardless, Regardless, if you poor pore over enough threads, you would hope someone would nip it in the but bud. ;)

There is something interesting about watching a train wreck. Even better if there is blood and carnage…as long as it belongs to someone else

I find it humorous when someone posts what a huge loss it will be if EA disappears. Really?

There was complaining about the horse beating. And there was no statement indicating one did not like seeing it get beat. My statement was agreeing with the Dodge Mans observation.

It was merely an observation that you appear to refute. Have at it. You are free to ignore my posts.

I still find a lot of the posts on this thread to be amusing even if it is BEATING A DEAD HORSE!!!
The horse ain't dead as long as the EA website looks like business as usual. Although today was the first time PayPal refused to service the site.
I've had a $10 item in my cart and click the PayPal button every few days just to check.
It will probably remain as an orphan until their hosting contract expires in September. But I still get led to it anytime I am looking for an implement as one of the top 4 or five hits.

Well, I don't know about anyone else, but I find value watching this thread to see if the horse being beaten on is actually dead or still alive.

I didn't watch all the movie but it seems the contractor
did not follow the drawings or specs for the building
and made some changes on his own. I would be pissed
if I had a contractor build me a new house and then made changes without consulting me about them

Well...that's what the newspaper article says anyway...I'm thinking there's more to it than that.
The two most important things right now would be for everyone waiting on an order to have their money returned and the website shouldn't be accepting any new orders. Not until the debacle is cleared up.

The contractor did not seem like a "fly by night" operation when I checked them out, but who knows for sure.

I have had two houses built and was there often to see how things were going. If the GC ran into an issue he would call and we would sort it out.

Also been involved with large projects in manufacturing plants. Same MO. A company rep. kept tabs on progress and performance.

If an owner is not on top of things, they are not doing their job. Bear in mind, this is not the owner of an ice cream shop. This guy ran one of the best implement manufacturing operations in the US. He could read a set of prints. Plus, the facility was not being constructed 500 miles from him.

I find the contractor "excuse" a bit of a stretch.

I think the dead horse that's being beaten is this redundant thread. I believe what you are interested in is if the fat lady has sung or not. If she hasn't, she is damn sure warming up.

The majority of these posts are definitely beating a dead horse, or going in circles, or just petty banter back and forth.

BUT! The more active this thread is, the higher it should stay for SEO on a web search, so that other folks can find this and avoid paying for nothing.

Plus, I keep hoping more ex-employees will come join and give us their take. In any case there will be some real news at some point.

So, continue beating the horse, I say.

Maybe he is one of the unlucky ones that what was EA is holding(spent) his money.

I actually think EA had some pretty good attachments (especially their Pine Straw Rake and 6 way rear blade). I hope the company gets resurrected in an honorable way.

That said, I am not a fan of Ted and his management. My responses on TBN have largely in response to the Ted lovers - especially when they are whistling through the graveyard - nothing to see here - or dis the victims of this mismanagement or possibly fraud.

I hope the customers get their products, the employees get their jobs back, and Ted gets what he deserves (whatever that is)

Maybe he should have gotten it back from the credit card co. But, since he didn't he can bash EA. I gues the name of this thread should be Bash EA.

My credit card company requires filling out a form and mailing it to them to properly file a claim for a disputed payment. I mailed that off over the weekend. Since I placed the charge back in September, 2023, I am not really expecting them to do anything. Would be nice, but not holding my breath.

In the meantime, I have to decide what to do. I really need to have a grapple for my tractor. Do I wait it out to see if EA pulls through this, or just go ahead and bite the bullet and order another grapple from another supplier. I sure as heck don't need two grapples, so it would be pretty awkward if I order another grapple from someone else, then get a notice from EA that the grapple I ordered from them is ready to ship. Yeah, probably being really overly optimistic, but I am a firm believer in Murphy's Law.

Rich, my sincere condolences on the loss of your wife and best friend.
On the grapple subject, I purchased an IronCraft 60 inch that I use on my TYM T25. It has met my expectations admirably. I had been interested in the EA Wicked Grapple and looked into ordering one last fall. When I discovered they wanted the full amount in front--and would charge my card immediately, it was a hard pass for me.
I must be right down the road from you.

Kim

I know you just want your personal retribution from Ted. You want your "pound of flesh" out of him.
