The question remains ... Where did the money go, that Ted took from customers, but gave them neither a product or a refund.?

I never considered any purchase from EA. Too far away. And now I'm glad - won't be searching for replacement parts from an OB company.

So, now I'm totally confused.
1. 12-14 weeks to ship? (Wait another 3 or 3 1/2months)
2. ...and not accepting payment until the order ships. (previously CC was billed when order was taken)
So, whoever this email was originally to....had, a long time ago, placed an order and wasn't
immediately billed? Or maybe they waited the 4-6 months, paid, got screwed, and now EA is willing
to bill them AGAIN when the order ships? I call BS.

I’d have to agree. They opened a FB channel that is very spotty also. They kinda say they are open but then they pop off for days at a time.

With all the credit card companies that took a hit by having to refund folks money you would think they wouldn’t allow you to use their credit cards to buy from EA again.

A lot of places do that. In fact that is exactly what you do when you pay cash. You give the Merchant the money and he gives you the product.

You still have to pick up whatever you ordered in person the last I heard. So, if I show up and get it loaded on "my trailer", I could see handing over a check.
