I have been toying with the idea of getting a pole barn or engineered metal building, 30x40x12. After looking long and hard I had multiple sources including contractors not tied to the business state that this Monday a major increase on steel sheeting and buildings is occuring. I kept hearing up to 20% increase. At any rate I ordered my building today. I got a Mueller ordered with 10x10 rollup to keep the tractor and hot rods nice and cozy.

I've got a 30 x 50 x 12 with a 10 x 12 rollup from Mueller.
Fortunately I bought it back in 04 before the initial big steel price increace came.
The only suggestion I can offer on the building is spend the money on a roof vent. I didn't and I regret it. Even with my box fan running it still gets really hot. My long wall faces South and yesterday I felt liek I was in an easy bake oven.

I actually drove over to Willis to buy it. It was cheaper to drive 2 hours and pay freight to ship back to me than buying local. I also will be getting it before the 15th whereas I would be waiting 6-8 weeks local at the Metal Depot. I didnt order a vent though.
