That's the one I used on BX 2200, only black. Had to use longer bolts and trim the sides of the steering wheel spoke and bend the tab down slightly that rests on the spoke to get the knob to stand straigh up with the wheel, wasn't rocket science to figure out how to make it work. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

( I'm with you. I bought one a local farm store, figuring they were all pretty much the same. I guess older tractors had much "thinner" steering wheels. I need one with a much bigger bracket for my BX 2230. Okay, wait, I don't need one at all, but I think it would be kind of cool. )

That's exactly what I need, too. The standard one I see around here doesn't come close to fitting.

What danger? 470 hours, and no problems (it's not a hotrod, it's a tractor, and I doubt if I've ever gone over 10 mph, and that's when heading down my road to a work spot). Tractor Supply Company, about $9.00 (4 years ago).

I've seen them at Tractor Supply, Harbor Freight, Advance Auto Parts. I have two on my steering wheel. The first one wandered around all points of the steering wheel... apparently there is no fixed mechanical linkage between the steering wheel and the front wheels.... so, I mounted a second one and now one is usually at a comfortable point when I wish to use it.
