I bought this small handheld blower today after reading numerous glowing reviews. Frankly so Ifar I am not impressed with the power which is odd since the only blower I have ever used is an electric which is really a craftsman shop vac. The wind just doesn't seem to reach out there and move stuff like pebbles off the driveway as well as the craftsman. Granted, it does not have the pointed nozzle but I am surprised that it does no blow any harder than it does based on the glowing reviews. It did take quite a while to get it to rev up strong after starting, but it seemed to have the rpms, just not the power.

Anybody have one of these?

Hi Alan,

I picked up a bg55 after my 12 year old craftsman gas blower gave up the ghost. I've been pretty happy with the power/force of the wind it generates. It starts easy, is quite light and fits my needs. It does seem to run pretty rich until it really warms up, but then look out!

I used today and it seemed stronger, maybe it needs some break in. I tried a flair ended attachment and frankly I am not sure which is better.

I'm seeing similar results with my RedMax blower. The more I use it the more power it has, so I think these really need a break-in period before you really see what they can do.
