Stihl Farm Boss

   / Stihl Farm Boss #31
I wonder which farm boss myself. They keep changing them. 041 and then a 290 If I recall right. Think it is down to a plastic 271 now. :confused2: Any others?

I bought an 041 new in 1976 and kept it about 25 years until parts just weren't available anymore.....great saw. I run a 046 Magnum and a Husky 570 now. The Husky is the better of the two.

Take it to an authorized Stihl dealer and ask for a detailed estimate first. Ask about any charges for the estimate. It better to have it gone over prior to use for safety reasons. Be sure to use Ethanol free fuel in ALL small engines if available in your area. PM me if you have any further questions. Ive been a technition working on them since 1976
