Don't worry we get shafted by the state gov.... taxes and charges on everything they can think of!
Will send warmth express post.....I'm over it for this year. Trying to get into the metal shop all summer to paint n restore tractor and it's just too hot in there a lot of the time.

I am always amazed when visiting with those in the other hemisphere. Our high temp here today was 6 degrees F. So hard to imagine that somewhere on this Planet it's 90 degrees F. And this is from a man who spent my entire adult life in the Military. Spent more time in the Jungles of Vietnam and the Deserts of Southwest Asia that I want to remember. But still amazes me.

We are only a month into Winter up here but I'd still trade with you!!! I like heat much better than cold. Hope all is well down there Stan!!!! :)

FWIW, I run the Stihl synthetic 2-stroke oil mixed at 50:1 with non-ethanol fuel in all my 2-stroke equipment. Stihl's synthetic oil runs clean wether in Stihl, Echo, RedMax or Toro.

I agree Eric. Started using it about a year ago. I'll not go back. :)

If it's any consolation, your spring can't be far off from starting 'cos the first sign of fall has started here. The only way I can tell is that I have one single northern hemisphere deciduous tree, planted by previous owners, the rest are all evergreen gum trees. It has just started to turn slightly purple... not sure what sort of tree it is though.

Average coldest it gets here is around 45F in mid winter and that's during the night....probably why I don't mind it. Never get snow or frost. Get a lot more done around the place in winter. The UV in the summer is outrageous though....leave anything plastic outside and it seems to fall to bits in front of your eyes.

Hard to find a place with perfect weather all year long. And if you can find that place, it will be packed with people!!!! I'll take some nasty weather to avoid that!!!!

Some varieties of Maple trees turn a purple color in Fall. Is it a nice shade tree??

Send us a pic of the tree and we'll identify it for you. Easier to do with leaves on, than off, obviously.

And no, we're not anywhere near spring on the 'right side' of the world.
In fact, December 21 is the winter solstice, so we have a LOT of winter to go!
June 21 is the summer solstice date. Hopefully by then all snow/ice is gone....

If you can avoid Ethanol fuel, by all means do so, at least for all small 2 stroke engines, chainsaws, weed eaters, etc.

G'day mate!

Lots of Australia has this sort of weather pattern and there is plenty of space here, so not packed thankfully.
Tree is only about 15 years old so not much shade yet.

I understand the shade thing. My philosophy is if you want shade, purchase a property with shade. It's hard to grow good shade trees in a lifetime!!!! :)
