What is holding me up from calling the fuel guy is .
Winter is coming on and I won't uses as much fuel .
I'm afraid if I order fuel now it will leave me stuck with summer blend in the middle of winter.

*Diesel is still above $4.00 in my neck of the woods hasn't dropped yet. Gas on the other hand has dropped a few cents not like other parts of the country.

How much is the off road there?

On road was 3.78 a day or 2 ago here.
So My guess is off road is about 3.25 to 304.

I always get 20 gallons of summer diesel late Fall and add an anti-gel. I want the greater power of summer diesel. Is that wrong?

I all ready have 17 gallon of that .
It has six tenths of and ounce of Power service white bottle in each1 gallon of diesel.
It's probably more than i can use between now and next spring.
I was just debating about refilling my 55 gallon drum now while prices are down.
If I wait till spring to fill up diesel might be lower than it is now; but it would be my luck for it to jump to $5.00 a gallon by then.

What do you use for an anti-gel ?

I guess I could go ahed and have my 55 gallon drum filled with summer blend off road now and get a couple of 2 gallon cans filled with winter blend later just in case.

I put a quart of of PS in each 55 gallon drum of fuel.
That is right close to a Double dose.

If you're treating it and the tractors are stored indoors, you won't have any problems LB. If you're not using much through the winter, maybe buying a full tank is not a good idea. I don't like to store diesel for more than a month or two becuse of condesation and possible algea growth.

If you have fuel now, why not just cut it with some kerosene for the winter? Thats what winter blend fuel is anyway. I don't know what the ratio is though.

I doubt if I will uses more than half of it by spring.
