This country is in a moral decline that I'm not sure we'll ever climb back from. Criminals are more brazen, kids don't want to work. It's all about instant gratification and living for the now. Unfortunately the rest of us pay in higher insurance fees, taxes, and whatever else. Restitution is rarely set at an amount that is even close to all costs involved with the crime. But, I AGREE, every thing helps. Just on last nights news in Iowa, 2 gunmen went into a liquor store to rob it. Interview with clerk said, "they would've got what they wanted but they came in with guns and meant business"! Clerk shot and killed both. Police said he was justified, no charges. Justice/restitution- served.By the way, man looked to be in his 70-80's.Crack shot under pressure.

I like watching the "stupid criminals" videos on YouTube. Like the robber who set his gun on the convenience store counter and the clerk grabbed it...or the liquor store burgler who couldn't get back out of the store.
The bait car videos are also among my favourites; I just love to see the reaction of these jerks when they realize they've been had!

So sorry this happen to you !! I know that sinking feeling as my Ford 600 in mint shape would not start by the road ...I left it and when I went back in the morning it was gone.

Looks like some one got it started.

I do plan to install video, and the local police suggested to get a good one, I may also install Lo Jacks on a few units and post a sign saying I have done so. I don't really expect it to be recovered. reviewing the police report, one was stolen on a town 60 miles up the same freeway on the same night, may or may not be related. We are right on an interstate so easy target, and I guess it just doesn't look to strange for someone to be loading a tractor in the middle of the night...

Security system and all, we unforturnately live with the fear.

We have our property protected, but... The real unfortunate thing is the market the thieves have for their stolen property. We may all be responsible (at times) for what happens to us. We are at times victims of ourselves.
