See I'm not the only one that thinks this is a PITA. Like others, I don't log-in unless I'm going to post something. Here's what I've found on my computer. It seems to have something to do with cookies. I always clear out cookies when I close the browser and next time I visit the site, up pops the log-in window. Now when I visit the site each day, as soon as I get the first notice to log-in I close out the tab. Open a new tab and go to the site, never get the log-in window.

From this it sure appears there is some info in the cookie that trips the log-in window. I'd prefer the issue would be addressed on the site's end but I may have to take care of it myself. Turn off the clear cookies flag, come to the site and then close the browser. Cookie now saved. Start up the browser again, reset the cookie flag and problem should be history.

Click the logout button (which should clear cookies). Then log in again.

If that doesn't keep your login session, clear cookies and log in.

That should fix it.

Wow, maybe Muhammad can post some info on this, but I haven't logged in in a long time, on about 5 different computers.. If I go to a new one that does not have the cookie on it, I would have to log in. Do you have cookies blocked? That would do it I suppose.

Probly logged out cause he does not have the box keep me logged in clicked?

I have found that as long as the cursor is in the login block before the popup comes up all you do is ignore it and keep typing. then tab to the password and type then hit return and you log in and it goes away. It maybe a bit of a nuisance but I just ignore it and keep logging in. Of course like a lot of you if I did not browse in private mode with cookie erase/block it would not have to be logged in when I reboot but I am willing to live with it for the added security. As long as I do not power off/reboot there is not problem.

I would guess that the site stores a cookie that says "You last got a popup on YYYY-MM-DD which was x visits ago" and by clearing the cookies when you close your browser it "forgets" that you had seen the site. If they were to not use a cookie, it wouldn't know if you, or someone else at (for example) the library had seen the popup.
As such, by clearing your cookies, you are guaranteeing that you will get a popup each time you go back to TBN.

Win 7 updated yesterday. IE9 no longer leaves me logged in. I logged out and signed back in without success.

I solved the problem. The popup was coming on every time as well as not leaving me logged in. I reset IE9 under advanced settings to default and it is working correctly. It appears the update changes something on the settings and blocks cookies. My banking websites were all affected the same way, would not remember logons. Security and sites were still at the same settings as before, I did have to change the way tabs and toolbars are displayed to my preferences after resetting to default.

I would like to see a delay added to the pop up so I have more time to log in.
I don't log off but I do clear my history after each use plus I run Ccleaner once a day which logs me off any site I was logged.
My computer remembers my log in names and passwords but the TBN pop up come on too quick. About 30 extra seconds would do for me.
