Storing backhoe attachment for the winter?

/ Storing backhoe attachment for the winter? #31
I have a Kubota L3560HSTC with a BH92 backhoe, I always store mine inside the barn on a dolly I made. I prevent "sag" of the out-riggers by hooking them together with a tie-down ratchet strap.View attachment 575517View attachment 575518

Thanks for the helpful information and the pics. I have a BH92 backhoe and will use the strapping to keep the out-riggers up as you showed. I have a number of automobile dollies that I can add some wood tops to in order to create a similar dolly set up as you show it. Do you drop the unit directly down onto the dolly? Also, it looks like it would be easier to line up when re-attaching (moving the dolly/bh92 instead of tractor back and forth to line up perfectly. My storage shed has a concrete floor also.

Glad the post was helpful, one other thing I did, was I made the part that goes under the tractor wide enough to touch the tires, that way I know I'm in far enough and not too far and it lines up better. The concrete floor makes it easy to roll around, though it is EXTREMELY heavy and takes a lot of effort to move it, but it does make it easy to line up like you said instead of moving the tractor to get the line up. Also, I store the BH92 sideways in the barn to save room, works great!
