Never use a tarp. It can trap moisture. Use a breathable car cover.
Glad you like it, it took several changes to finally get what I wanted it to do. Sorry it took so long to comment, but have been unusually busy.Yes. This is exactly what I am planning to do! Thanks for sharing.
I have a Kubota L3560HSTC with a BH92 backhoe, I always store mine inside the barn on a dolly I made. I prevent "sag" of the out-riggers by hooking them together with a tie-down ratchet strap.View attachment 575517View attachment 575518
I used bailing wire last winter to hold up my BH outriggers. Like the idea of a lightweight ratchet strap... got plenty.Nicely done! I do the ratchet strap thing as well.
I use standard 4'x4' shipping pallets for all my attachments like backhoe, snow blower and heavier stuff like log splitters, snowmobile, SXS etc.... Then move them around my shop with a pallet jack.
Jack was like $200 and pallets are free all over the place where I am.
I have never owned a backhoe before, I want to take it off for the winter (sub frame mount) .
What is the best position to leave it in for ease of taking it off and putting it back on.
The backhoe in question is a Woods Groundbreaker 7500 on my Kubota L2850.
Thanks and pics of yours stored would help![]()
I like that philosophy! I have been slowly searching for the right deal on another 30-40 hp tractor. My list of needs is simple, 4x4, loader and a bargain!
Sooo, I ask again. Are there any negatives to leaving the backhoe on the 2601 in storage for the winter?
