</font><font color="blue" class="small">( Looking at the photo closely I think it's a very good photo shop. If you notice, it is an overcast day and nothing else is casting a shadow but the machine. Look at the shadow on the tire, the light source would be directly above the tire, but the shadow on the cab is at an angle. It is a cool photo but I don't think the shadows lie. But then again I can be wrong ????? )</font>
I had considered the shadows as a factor in my determination as well and a flash on the camera that took the pic would would eliminate the shadow on the wheel.I do not think that the pic is a fake.As the poster above observed,many third world countries might consider that machine to be cutting edge technology at some point in their evolution and that could have been their excavator before they figured out how to build a turntable and a house that rotates.
I do not think that scenerio is the correct answer though,that machine was purpose built and I want to know,for what?? RonG
