May seem like the obvious answer to your question but you pull cylinder liners with a liner puller. Check with some local shops and see if someone will rent you one for the afternoon. My liner puller kit does everything from around 3 to 8 inch bores.

The dry ice worked. I started early Saturday morning but,the heat outside quickly got into the 90's. The ice melted fast. I was able to at least break them loose finally using the second contraption that I made. I got both liners up about 1/2 inch. I was hoping to be able to just grab them and pull them out but, that plan did not work out. Now I just have to fabricate a piece to go on the bottom of the liners that fits slightly smaller that the bore of the block. I feel like I have at least won the major battle now of getting them loose.

Dieselpower,

I tried finding a puller first with no luck. The engine machine shop would have loaned me one if the had one. He said they just drive them out with a hammer and block. Of course when the get the block it is already out of the truck/tractor.
