Stuck in low range

/ Stuck in low range #21
I know I would hate to take it back apart again. The person (auraaura) doing the work is going to have to make that call, only you can see the true condition and chance of sealant working. I recently cut several gaskets with a ball peen hammer for an FX24 but they were not thick gaskets. It didn't take long and they turned out good. Surprised by the "thick" gaskets. Think they are original?

I think what you use for the gaskets is just personal preference . I have and continue to use High temp silicone on most anything that needs a gasket. There are cases where I wouldn't use silicone, this isn't 1 of them.
