Snow Stuck in the snow

Oh, it's trthe tractor all right. With chains on the rear and even the front tires a 4WD tractor can go most anywhere.

We had a major storm blow through our area (NE shore of Lake Superior) again. 60+ mph winds and 18" of fresh snow.

I had the fully chained Kubota out today for 2 1/2 hours cleaning the snow up.

Hi Northland,

Looks like u got some quality seat time happening there. Is that Canexel siding on your house? If so, looks like same stuff I just built with. Has it held up well? For how long?

Snow hit us today in Ottawa. I think we'll get less than 30cm but drift could be much more in my drive. I was clearing this afternoon in blowing storm just to get car out. Expect more fun tomorrow :D

Actually it's wavy cedar and it's now 17 years old and holding up very well:)

The CanExcel looks great though and will last lifetme with nothing to maintain. My brother sided his new cottage with it.

With snow like that you might need a snowblower to move it away a bit!
wow.

I bought the canapy with the B7510 new, so Kubota. I knew I would need one and am glad I just got it up front.

How well does the back blade work? I have a mile driveway that I use a Chevy with a plow to clear, but it is getting old. It broke down the other day and made me start thinking about redundancy. A blower would be great this year, but most winters we are into the gravel on and off throughout the season.

The rear blade works very well and leaves a nice clean surface. I only paid $275 for that 6' King Kutter rear blade at Tractor Supply and while it has been worth the money I wish I had spent more $ and bought one that has the offset/tilt feature so it would be better on surfaces that are not flat.

We get a lot of snow (13+ feet) each winter and the FEL/rear blade combo works well for me. However, I am running out of places to pile that snow so I am going to buy a used 60' rear snow blower this week.
