Trying to keep birds out of my cherry trees, they eat the cherries before they even have a chance to ripen.

So far they are undefeated.

Yes ,the robins lived in the dang thing; I finally cut it down [it was dying anyway]

Rebuilding motorcycles I got a good deal on as basket cases. Having learned it's a bad idea each time I vow never to do it again. Financially it's ALWAYS more expensive than just buying a used running bike.

It isn't always about the money. Projects are more often just good for "Me Time".

Messing around, trying to "revive" old lead acid batteries.

Rebuilding the gravel approach to my house, after every heavy rain.

Regrading the one side of the valley in my driveway after each heavy rain. Finally - put in two cross driveway gravel riffles. Next project.........

That’s easy trying again and again over the years to repair the cheap plastic hood on my JD GT 235 mower. I have glued, reinforced, etc over and over again. Horrible design. That’s why I have an orange tractor with a metal hood.

Trying to make old Peripheral equipment work with a NEW computer.

A good chunk of my life involved RS232 and Centronics Parallel ports. It was pretty much just one or the other. Now standards seems to change every six weeks! Or so it SEEMS.

And as high tech as the Taco Wagon is - I can not play a DVD or CD on it. It won't even acknowledge my external disk player. One entire shelf of my book shelf is devoted to software that is no longer compatible with any OS. I save in the desperate hope that some day "it might rise again".

So my son says - "Dad, load whatever you want onto a thumb drive. It accepts thumb drives". HUH!!!

Don't feel to bad. Wife just showed me how to pair up a Bluetooth device to Bluetooth speakers. Sadly, I will have forgotten how in a day or two.:confused3:

I lament all the VHS tapes I have. Many recorded off the old hacked C band dish.

I do feel sorry, for anyone that felt it necessary to upgrade music and video collections to Blueray, or what have you.

How many movies does anyone actually want to see over and over again? Probably not more than half a dozen for me.

Just, Clint Eastwood, Charles Bronson and Sylvester Stallone. Most of the rest just suck eggs. Hahahaha
