Stump Removal

This is what was left of the Camphor Tree. I will tie it down, net it and take it to the dump in the morning. The tree actually had more under the ground than it did on top. A small amount of the debris came from some smaller tree stumps that I pulled out out with the Jeep.

The John Deere sure came in handy to load the heavy stuff on the trailer. It amazes me as to how much it will lift and push.

It is a great place to live. My wife came from Long Island and I came from Iowa so we know what you mean. It gets near 100 degrees often in the summer, and we have gotten snow twice in the past six years. The attached photo was taken on 2/7/00 and I was standing in the same spot the John Deere was in on the last photo.

We can have horses, have community pools, parks and a big golf course. We don't golf, horse and have our own pool but we call our home Our Bit Of Paradise. The Cuymacha State park is on three sides of us and within a block each way. The origional owners had put landscape (crushed) rock, red white and blue in the yard, but we both like grass. The rock is gone, I have removed the "ugly" trees, replaced them with nice land scape trees (Flowering Magnolia, Plumb, Peach, Pink Weeping Cherry, King Fountain Cherry, a red and a white Dogwood to name a few).

If you make it to San Diego, let us know, stop by for coffee and a look.
