From my memory it seemed diapers, when being worn, already had a pretty sensitive and smart sensor in them that warned you of wet or dirty diapers.

depends on the kid. some of them don't seem to mind. the booty pat or just a visual or smell check usually tell the whole story though. all this is, is a sensor that detects the color change on the blue line most of them have.

I see new models Blutooth enabled and think ehhh they ran out of ideas but wanted an excuse to up the cost.

You've got to get them started early with the technology though, otherwise they will never catch up.

We had a apple II E when I was growing up in the '80's so I understand that, but for some reason I don't think smart diapers is where it needs to start . And I don't think throwing a screen at them when they're cranky is the way either, the wife is on the same page and does childcare for a living so hopefully things won't go too sideways
