4 acres, 2 acres of fairly smooth lawn and the other 2 acres with ruts, hills, wet -weather swamp and rocks.

Haven't used the new toy, err ahhh tool yet but expect many enjoyable hrs on it!

40 acres, 20 acres rented by farmer across the street, 3 acres in wife's perennial gardens, 5 acres of woods, 1 acre pond, 1 acre in swamp grass, leaving about 10 acres of grass to cut mixed with 300 planted tree's of varying sizes.

I use a JD 4600 with about 900 hours and a JD LX279 for trimming around the trees and near the house.

JD4600 with 460FEL with grapple fork, pallet fork and 7'6" Western Snow Plow, JD LX279, 84" KK finishing mower, 84" KK Landscape Box, 84" KK Landscape Rake, 84" KK Blade, and 72" KK Bush Hog, 7' Northern Tool Backhoe, Bri Mar 6X10 Dump Trailer, 20' Rugged Road Equipment Trailer.

155 acres of forested hillside, with only the house and outbuildings located on flat ground. Makes for excitement in winter when the ground is covered in snow!

I didn't know there WAS 10 acres left to build on in Ohio.Haha.

I have three and a half acres for my 2210 to play on, grass except the garden, and 150 foot driveway. An old neglected property that had 10 foot high weeds and lots of rocks. recently moved a pile of rocks with my FEL no sweat.

1*What did you do get it to late and winter set in before you got much chance to use it?
I have a lot of summer work waiting for my tractor and It's sure giving me a big bad case of winter time cabin fever. LOL
2*I bought a new Bolins in 1966 still have it with 38' MMM 48' blade and tiller.
Your sickle mower must be nice for mowing and keeping down weeds along ditches.
3* I see you Registered: on 09/07/04 which is only 3 days after I got my BX23.
When did you get yours.?

5.5 acres mostly mature forest in the mountains joins the Pisgah National Forest with 1,000s of acres (that I am suppose to stay off of). Neighbor owns 96 acres which I take care roads etc as needed.

Greetings, took delivery of the BX23 Dec 20th, it was an early Christmas present.
What with it being 0-dark thirty by the time that I get home and the holiday weekend I haven't had much seat time at all on it. I finally did tho and have posted a thread Here on my 1st major test of the BX23 and it performed very well thanky /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I almost bought a used hydro Bolens back in 89 but ended up going with a used 1966 Wheelhorse 856 (budget dictated), and thats the one I still have. I got the sicklebar this past summer and I use it mow a long steep bank along my frontage road and to reach in a knock down the reeds and tall grass around the pond. It does a very good job but it shakes that little tractor (& me) to death /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif The 36" deck needs rebuilding but the parts are readily available and I may do it one of these days, but that BX23 will definitely get most of the attention now /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I was having some 2nd thoughts about going with the BX23 instead of going with a B7510 but after working the BX23 and driving it around the ponderosa, those thoughts are history as I'm very happy with the BX23.

I have .89 of an acre it is hilly and rocky. I have been landscaping it for two years. I have a bx22. David.
