6 Acres, 2 wooded, using a MF1235 HST,FEL,72"MMM.6'Backhoe does all I need except stumps. Then I ask my neighbor for help with his Case580.

We have 4 acres around the house, 3/4 mile of roadside that we mow and my mother lives a couple of miles from us. She has a 1/4 mile driveway that we maintain and 4 acres of mowing. Lots of seat time in the summer! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

2 acres all grass except for: a 50'x50' garden, many flower beds around house, 200 foot blacktop driveway, with a 40'x40 pad at the top

BX2230 on 7.5 acres of which I mow 6 and clean 635 feet of driveway.

House on .32 acres... can barly turn the tractor around on it...

2.7 acres in VT... all mowed...

Kubota L3130... in VT warm months... CT cold months...

BX23 on 1.97 acres. Was formerly 80% jungle and 20%grass, now down to about 50% jungle, 40% clear, 10% grass.

A BX wuold be OK on 10 acres, but a larger tractor would do everything faster. I think my BX23 would be great on my property and the neighboring properties to the sides, about 5.5 acres total.

10 acres, mostly timber. Lodgepole, douglas fir, western larch, ponderosa pine, white fir. John Deere 4310 with 430 FEL and 48 backhoe. Was using a Kubota B7100 but found (almost stole) this JD4310, with 24 hours on it, for 1/2 price of retail /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

1+ acres, a lot more of it lawn since I got the BX23. Because my wife loves to build flower gardens and an abundance of trees, I still mow with a wheel horse lawn tractor. The drive is 450' long. Trap rock at the house and turn around for ~150' then crush stone for the rest to the street where there's about a 20' asphalt apron. I plowed it for the first time yesterday - almost 6" of snow and it worked great. No problem with turf tires. I have skid shoes which help on the trap rock part, and just dropped the blade in the float position for the rest. Smiling ear to ear the whole time. Even did my neighbors drive. Can't wait for some more snow /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif.
