I did my second transmission fluid change yesterday and couldn't get the 4 magnets in the suction screen to stick to the housing, they would all just clump together without any attraction to the screen.
I remember the first change, they were all laying separated and against the screen when I took them out and attached fine when I put them back in.
However, this time they were all clumped together when I took out the screen and I couldn't get them to lay onto the housing when I put them back in. I'm not sure what laws of physics have changed over the last couple years, but I just left them as one magnet floating in the chamber.
I'm wondering:
(1) is this usual?
(2) is there a fix?
Thanks for your thoughts...
