Sugar Sand - Help!!

Some things I have found out about soft land. I don't have sugar sand but what I have sound similar. If you start spinning, you get in trouble quick. You need wide tires, turf or industrial. I usually stay in 2wheel drive. As soon as I see trouble, shift into 4 and get out. If you use 4wheel all the time you just get further from the truck when you get stuck. MMM can cause trouble. They contact the ground early and can't be lifted hi.

Before I bought my Kubota L3000DT the other tractor in the running was the JD 790. One of the main reasons I decided on the Kubota may be a factor in your decision. The front tires on the Kubota area bigger in diameter than what came on the JD then.

I felt this would give me greater gound clearance and the ability to roll through over objects better. I have been through over a foot of soupy mud without a problem. The 3PH lift was rated for more weight on the Kubota also. Price was a little less for the Kubota too.
