On New Years Day, my girlfriend and I were riding four wheelers around my place. We were cutting new trails exploring areas I haven't been to yet and found this trailer.

It was in some trees that I'd guess to be around five years old, give or take a year or two. They pop right out with the backhoe.

The tires are totally bald, but still had some air in them. I hooked a chain to it and brought it home.

You can see the bottle racks and brackets that must have been used for hoses. I figure it was used for a cutting torch/welding setup. There's no lights or wiring. No license or bracket for one. The hitch is for tractors. No fenders for the tires. It was never used on the roads.

Here's the other side. I have an idea of what I can use it for, but I don't want to influence anybody. You have proven to be a very creative group and I'm looking for some suggestions on what I can use it for that I wouldn't have thought of myself.

Thanks, Eddie

Also having a 4wheeler the first thought that comes to mind is to clean up the piping mess and add a deck and sides and convert to a serious hauler to tow behind the ATV.

You certainly could never overload it.
For general utility hauling with an ATV the tires would probably still do fine. Certainly would not bog down.

Something you wouldn't have thought of, yourself? How about a small parade float. The bottle racks and hose supports would be perfect places for the people on the float to lean or grab ahold.

I think it would make a great log skidder behind the ATV. Mount some chains, use a binder and skid some nice tree trunks out of the woods...........

Never know where you will find a trailer in Tx. My son was swimming in our lake, when he discovered a engine buried in the mud. He kept messing with it and found it was part of a pump. He ask me to pull it out with the tractor. Turned out it was B/S 5Hp field pump mounted on a home built trailer made from a 1932 Crosley rear end. Had to have been in the lake for over 30 years. Engine still had oil in it and the tires still had air in them and the axle was still full of grease. Amazing part of this tale is we got the motor running, the pump working and repaired the trailer. Since the little trailer is only 40" x 50" I use it with the lawn tractor.
