After reading everyones posts I think im gonna pass on a canopy,I never thought about hanging it up on tree limbs and such. I would probably tear it off or crunch it going into the woods. Thanks for the replies, probably saved me some cash and aggrevation.

Certainly is a concern. You do have to relearn that clearance and such. I'm in the early stages of doing that myself. Scares me to death but its why I bought the heavy duty Aluminum one. But lets all be real here... canopy's have been around for many MANY years and people use them and love them too. Not everyone destroys them.

Here is the Canopy I got from the dealer this weekend. It, I believe, is supplied as a Kioti Accessory but I see no names on the box nor on the unit either. So I do not know who makes it. This is the larger of the choices in Diamond Deck Aluminum and I installed it just today.

Gives a lot of coverage both shade and rain protection. Thats what put me over the top to give one a try was rain. Unexpected rain on Saturday killed my bush hogging option for that day but sent me to the dealer instead to pick up my adjustable lift arms. And he had some on several tractors of various kinds to look at. Had I had one I would have been mowing instead that day. But shade is a more often need.

Yeah I understand that part, but given where I take my machine I dont think the roof would survive. I operate in tight quarters sometomes.
On a differant note ,i have the same grapple , and use it all the time, did you install the 3rd function remote or do you run off the rear remotes like I do?

Sure wish that I knew who made that. Looks nice

I take mine close to some woods between pastures and one of the lanes in my equipment shed is low in one end that I was driving through. Just need to go through with the pole saw and make sure I don't need to worry about those and remember to not drive through that section. Things as you get older get harder to do! LOL.

W R long third function was installed and operates off that.

I don't know if I can find out who makes it but Ill try and find out. In my case the distance between outside to outside of the ROPS was 43 and 1/4 inches but I had some ability to adapt to a range of widths. I assumed it was a Kioti supplied one but I could be wrong. I'll update when I discuss with my dealer who made it. It was and is rather impressively made. It does have a form of insulation in the roof in some sort of a foam liner glued on. All edges are covered with guard and it has front and rear reflectors. I'll need to take some close ups of the square tube support structure and insulation and the build detail for you. It was pricey of course. $450 out the door.

It will not let me edit due to the length of time its been since I posted last so forgive me for having to post the manufacturer in an additional reply

I was at the dealer today returning the old lift arms I traded in for the telescoping ones. So I asked about the manufacturer. He does not get this from a Kioti source. He gets them from a company called Tel-Trax Inc. They have a limited web site. Tractor sun shades. They are located in Tennessee. It appears they are a wholesale company only.

I've used it now for two days and only bumped something once. A large dead overhanging Oak limb. And also have run through a good number of smaller overhanging branches of up to say pencil thickness with leaves and most of them fairly small. No real damage at all. Nothing I can see that is. This ones pretty stout. Its so hot out there in the late afternoon even shade is not that much help! LOL...

In fact I got the whole tractor a bit hot today. Had to shut down and cool it off and go back to the shed and blow the dust out of the radiators. All if it was really fine stuff that got past the screens and lodged behind the first cooler and the radiator. Clogged that portion of it up. Blew out real easy but it was more or less hidden back there. I was rooting out a lot of trees yesterday and I and everything was covered with fine peat moss like dust. This is the stuff that got in there. And hard to see without opening the hood and removing the screen. Normally mine will run about at the half temp mark. When I looked down ad noticed I was up at the 3/4 mark. What made me look was I got the impression that the hot air coming from the front of the tractor had increased. Even in the almost 95 degree heat. Pay to keep an eye on that gauge when its hot and your doing dusty work. No harm no foul as it cooled right down and then ran another hour after blowing it all out.

I put a 12 volt Radiator fan on the underside on my canopy to blow down cause here in North Florida it is hot all the time when I mow..

I put one of the RhinoHide canopies on my CK3510 and another on my Hustler ZT mower, very stout product and gives good shade. The quick attach and backhoe kit are on the tractor, regular mount on the ZT.
