Last night at the end of the pier at South Haven, MI.

We had a brief thunderstorm overhead a few nights ago, right at dusk. But to the west the sky was clearing and the sun peeked out just before going below the horizon, giving me this rainbow sunset:

Red sky at night... sailor’s delight. Took this Wednesday eve before opening day of shrimp season here. Was a good day!

No... but it could be... we go straight out from our place and drop in about 250-300ft of water.

Thank you... yes we are blessed. Moved away from the suburbs 12 years ago and not missing it at ALL! Our view is looking NW across the Hood Canal with the Olympic Mountains in the background.

Sadly, but fires do make for more dramatic sunsets.

It was hot today - officially 99 degrees for the high - and the skies remained cloudless until the sun was just about below the horizon. Then the clouds moved in, giving us another spectacular sunset.

This is a sunrise photo. I have a good one taken on Isle Royal* but I can't find it right now. Will post of I can find it.

Big island and a national park in lake Superior.

OK I did find my Isle Royal photos. This first photo is the park boat Ranger, that we've taken. The 3nd is a cement boat we happened upon, while crossing. Ya, its a big lake.
