So when the bulbs blow on my lights it also kills the brakes? They are on separate wiring, so lots of possibilities to make this statement false. My lawnmower trailer has no brakes, but the lights work.

probably different back then.. but now, depending on your insurance, if you have vehicle insurance and buy a vehicle, you 'have' insurance, and a small period to add the vehicle.

still.. I never pull anything without prior calling the ins and at least texting my agent a pic and a vin number, and getting a text back that says drive it.

I always wondered if he turned the damage to his pickup in on his insurance and if he did how he explained what happened to it.

Both tail lights were broken, the tailgate smashed and the sides of the bed crinkled.

It had brakes. I think everything happened so fast he either didn't have time to get to the brake or was so scared he didn't think to hit them.

It seemed like he never took his foot off the gas pedal until he hit the pickup.
